Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Perfume

The very first fragrance I remember owning was Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue, I had other perfumes before that but this is the only one that stuck in my mind at the time, I was in my teens at the time and light blue perfume is the one responsible for my near obsession with perfumes from that day onwards. It is not the most fancy looking perfume bottle in the world but it is an irresistible perfume that is quite feminine without ever being too floral and talc power like.

Dolce Gabbana Light blue was first launched in 2001 and is a clean fresh scent that is mainly suited to women in their late teens and early twenties, its rare to find a perfume that continues to be a bestseller every year and Light Blue is one of these, since its first release it continues to top the most popular perfumes list each year and with good reason, its a nice light scent, definately not a night time perfume but is ideal for everyday wear.

The perfume itself is a lovely evening perfume with notes of jasmin and lily among others. The next perfume released was "By" released in 1998 and is a classic smelling scent that uses traditional notes such as sandalwood and vanilla, a charming scent that deserves more recognition.

"Feminine" perfume was released a year later in 1999 and is an exciting but soft scent featuring notes of water lily and mimosa.

"Sicily" by Dolce and Gabbana is up next and was released two years after "Light Blue" in 2003, a sophisticated ladies perfume that is mostly floral. "The One" was launched in 2007 and is rich scent with notes of jasmin, peach and musk among others.

The Anthology Collection by Dolce and Gabbana Perfume set was released in 2009 and is a unique set of scents, a collection of fragrances each named after different tarot cards, namely the lovers (L'amoureux), the magician (Le Bateleur), the wheel of fortune (La Roue De La Fortune), the empress (L'Imperatrice) and the moon (La Lune).
